This year we at Willow Cove Elementary are focusing on establishing and reinforcing positive behavior. This means that if we want our students to be safe, respectful and responsible we must model and explain what that means. We are implementing a school-wide positive behavior program that helps to create a positive school environment. We have adopted the STAR Student Program for all students. Through this program we will recognize and celebrate when students make positive choices. Attached is a flyer in English and Spanish that gives an overview of the STAR Student Program.

 

We ask and thank you for your help implementing this program. Please talk with your child about what it means to be a star student.

 

 

Este año en la escuela Willow Cove nos estamos enfocando en establecer y reforzar el comportamiento positivo. Esto significa que si queremos que nuestros estudiantes se mantengan seguros, respetuosos y responsables debemos modelar y explicar lo que eso significa. Estamos poniendo en práctica un programa de comportamiento positivo en toda la escuela que ayuda a construir y crear un ambiente escolar positivo. Hemos adoptado el programa de estudiante ESTRELLA para todos los estudiantes. A través de este programa vamos a reconocer y celebrar cuando los estudiantes tomar decisiones positivas. Se adjunta un folleto en inglés y español que da una visión general del Programa de Estudiantes STAR.
