Our beginning concert band is made up of fourth and fifth grade students who are learning the fundamental techniques specific to their instrument.  Students are given the opportunity to learn basic flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, or percussion. Our dedicated band students meet once a week in the morning and in the afternoon in staggered rehearsals. They will perform at our school winter concert, our spring concert and our district band concert in May. This program is a good introduction to the skills necessary at the junior high level.
